The 34^th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics (CVIT2026)

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great honor to welcome you to CVIT 2026. The meeting will be held from July 16^th to 18^th, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo.

There is a decrease in young cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons. It could be said that the cardiology society, especially the interventional cardiology society, has arrived at the turning point. Furthermore, the work system reform forces us to change our work style. On the other hand, it is impossible to consolidate percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) facilities especially for patients with acute myocardial infarction to a single center. Actually, it is becoming a reality that even patients with acute myocardial infarction cannot undergo primary PCI in some rural areas. In this tough situation, the education by the interventional cardiology society is very important.

CVIT 2026 will provide ample live and video case demonstrations for coronary artery, peripheral artery, and structural heart diseases. Furthermore, we focus on bail-out procedures for the complications. It is very important to know the bail-out procedures before encountering them. Let’s learn them!

Tokyo will be very hot in July, 2026. Our discussion at CVIT 2026 shall be hotter. We are looking forward to seeing you in Tokyo!
