The 33^rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics: CVIT2025

On the occasion of holding the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics: CVIT2025, I would like to deliver a message.

The long-awaited EXPO2025 has opened from April 13th! The EXPO field, which have been visited and experienced its fantasy worlds or future visions by many people, is filled with excitement. On the other hand, city center of Osaka remains calm without transportation and accommodation disorders, which were concerned before the EXPO2025. We are greatly honored to welcome all of you to Osaka in such state.

Nowadays, medical expenses are increasing rapidly and political instability prevails worldwide. How we develop the medical field is a serious question. Additionally, work-life balance for medical staff is a matter of concern. In the field of cardiac intervention, we need to consider not only science but also social contributions, cost effectiveness and SDGs. Hence, we would like to invite EXPO panelists and other non-medical specialists to attend CVIT2025 to discuss the future of interventional development. We are planning to hold variety of sessions including 5 Invited Lectures, 3 Special Programs, 64 Symposiums, 30 Panel Discussions, 1070 Medical Free Papers, 266 Medical Staff Free Papers, etc. In addition, we designed the program for participants to share knowledge and improve technical skills by enhancing Live Case Transmissions and Exhibitions of medical equipment.

Also, on site at the EXPO 2025 field, we will open the CVIT booth in “Future Life Experience” area from July 15th to 21st. Exhibitions of new catheter devices, introduction video of catheter treatment in future, demonstrations of PCI simulators, etc. are prepared as CVIT, an organization open to society and attracts interest of children who carry the future.

The title of CVIT2025 is “Open the future, CVIT-EXPO“.
